| small ball hand selection I am getting better at this style of play. Daniel Negreanu says to bet anything hand with "potential" To me that means anything connecting, gappers, suited cards. My question to you is in tournement play in the early stages, should i play small ball only with premium cards? Thanks |

| I think small ball is overall a good strategy, however I don't think the early stages of an MTT are times to use it. Generally it's very tight and while that's true that you can take down a lot of tiny pots pre-flop and with C-bets, it's not worth it for the little blinds. In a six-max cash game, however, I'm smallballing all day It's weird actually 'cos full ring + tourneys I'm a complete nit but shorthanded I'm loosey-goosey. |
