| Slanty strategy I would love to learn more about the strategy that Irexes and Tenbob were using in the CCCOHE main event today. I have seen both of them use this strategy multiple times in CC games and go on to take down the tournaments. I suspect FP and Dorkus use it as well. I know the basic idea is to let your stack get as short as possible early in the game. Tenbob successfully made that move against me today by calling my KK with only 2 pair - knowing full well I would hit another pair on the river. Then he just kept doubling up over and over. Rex got his stack as small as he could - then bam! And he ended up winning the whole event. Can you guys enlighten us non-slanties on your strategies? |
