situational poker(kq,k10 ect.) have alot more quality to them bet when you git it and loosen up later in the later hands(4,5 players). also dont be afraid to get money in the pot.keep a close eye on pot odds a poker players best friend.

Sit back, play top 10 hands at first, let them take each other out. A nice pot here and there helps, but keep in mind, if you can play heads up worth a *ahem* then all you need to do is be in position at the end. Once it gets down to 4 maybe 5 in full seaters, and 3 in 6 seaters, you can open up, be more aggressive, but until then, you don't mind someone taking a big pot here or there.

This question really depends on the poker room. I will share you my strategy which I usually came in 1st or 2nd place on Pokerroom. These were $5.50 sit and goes (9-10 players) so I don't know if play money is any different. Play most hands early. Get as good you can get with check raising. You can really push people all in using check raises. Short handed table play tighter so you can place in money. While you are in the money usually 3rd, 2nd, 1st play loose. Then heads up play tight if you are chip leader. Play loose if you are short stacked. For more information I advise you to buy Harrington on Hold'em. This book talks a lot about sit and goes and it taught me a lot.
