Sit and Go No Limit Holdem Quick sit and go question. After a 3-way pre-flop call where one person is all-in, should the other players be "courteous" to each other and just check to the river if there isn't an additional side pot? Is the goal at this stage to help each other eliminate the all-in player, or is it still each man for himself? Also, does this apply to all forms of no-limit holdem - cash, tourney, or otherwise?

Cash take no prisioners tournaments and SnGs... There can be a whole book on when to and when not to. Early stages I don't think there is any reason to check it down if you hit. I don't recommend bluffing into a dry sidepot. Later there are advantages to checking it down. You can move up the money ladder to make more. You do risk losing a pot that you could have won giving yourself more money and a better chance to win it all.

i try to check it down unless i think i most likely have the all in beat and then ill bet, but other people dont care , i see them in tourneys where top five win ,six players left and someone all in and they are betting big and getting the other players out when it is not in thier best interest.depends but most of the time in sng i value getting a player out over my winning the hand .
