Should limpers effect your ranges? Like if I would normal raise late position with Q9s, it isn't a great hand but im in position. If there are say 2 limpers I would add a bb per limper. Is it still a good idea to do this with mediocre hands? P.s. and what about raising from blinds when there are a few limpers?

No, limpers should Affect your ranges. You should loosen them up. Exploit limpers as much as you can, isolate them with a wide range and, if called, cbet the crap out of them. Say, if you have A2o on the HJ and would usually fold, as soon as you see limpers in front of you, you should add it to your raising range. Limpers are uncomfortable with their hands, exploit them.

Ah i think ive been doing the opposite with limpers ive only been raising the Q9s hands on the button and CO with no limpers.... But what you say makes lots of sense, definitely gonna start opening up more! nice thread ryan, and im sure raising from the blinds isnt a good idea as your position is awful, of course if you have a great hand then you still would.

I raise em usually light. But when they r utg in the micros I not sure what to do sometimes cuz it seems majority of time that's a sign they r gonna shove when they get raised. Especially if he's tight with a high preflop raise percentage. If its a loose fish its probably just he doesn't know what he's doing.

Sometimes we're stepping into a trap but it's not a scary one. If we've got crap, we muck it... But the times we take down the pot pre, or OTF w/ a cbet, will more than make up for the times we have to surrender. |

Yes I will raise MUCH wider with limpers already in the pot. I find it quite profitable to, rather than setmine (at the micros) raise it up with your small pocket pairs because you can very often pick up the pot without hitting, as if you were playing a much bigger hand.
