Saw this on TV...
I was watching Learn From The Pros or something like that and they were talking about common tells from beginners. A few that seemed to me may be good were:
If when 1st looking at the flop they look down at their chips, that could indicate that they caught something. If they lean forward and stare at the cards for awhile they may have a piece of the flop, and if they lean back and dont look much this could indicate they have nothing. Also, they said many beginners look at their hand before its their turn to act, and push their hand away from them, so you can tell in advance if they are going to play. Anyways, I rarely play live games but next time I do, I'll check these out. Just thought I'd share...... |

Another one is not to look at your cards until its your turn to act. Watch what your opponents do first, and try and have your hand requirments decided before you even look. Never watch a flop, watch the players. You can pick up some incredible tells this way. |
