Rush poker vs. multitabling So I have been playing a good amount of 25nl rush poker lately, and I have a question for those who have played rush and have multi-tabled FR games. Rush poker games require you to act much more quickly and more often than standard games, and I was wondering, How many tables of 25nl is equivalent to 1 table of rush poker (as far as turn to act frequency) ?

This really would depend on the player as some can handle playing quite a few standard games and also depends on your monitor setup, but as far as handling the action I would say as a guess that 1 rush table for every 3-4 you can handle of standard poker. Best way would be to see at what number of tables your results start to suffer.

Comparing the experience is only a rough estimate. The lobby should show the average number of hands per hour, and then you can compare Rush versus regular tables, though the Rush total will vary depending on how fast you click quick fold and how many flops you like to see. But the experience is different as the decisions won't always be sequential when you multi table, plus you have action and reads to pay attention to and use.

re: Rush poker vs. multitabling You are comparing apples to oranges... Don't care how much multi-tabling you are doing, your approach and decision making process is fundamentally different in the two games. As far as speed to react... eh... you have far more downtime on each regular table however rush tables you are almost constantly engaged with. I think multitabling a ton of regular tables takes more work/effort/concentration personally even at a similar number of hands/hr. Ultimately it just comes down to how much you practice it... (and when I primarily played NLHE I would play up to 20 tables at at time just for reference sake)
