Oh - I didn't want my post interpreted the wrong way. I assumed one would read all my posts in a thread...
I will never hesitate to get all my chips in the middle with AA. I was just noting/replying to the post above me. It is VERY possible to get AA cracked...but your objective is to get your money in the middle when you have the odds to win. After that, it's luck. No diff than Blackjack. You know what the odds are when you compare what you have and what the dealer is showing and you make your decisions appropriately. I will always double a 10 or 11 if the dealer is showing a 6 or lower. There is always a chance that the dealer still turns to 21, but I'm willing to get my money based on my odds. But I would not double down with a 12 showing. Same thing - I'll get all my money in with AA because the odds are on my side. |
