| RE: Flush Draws I was just getting ready to ask about calling or betting on fluch draws and seen KMC1828's post. Didn't really answer my question, so here goes. It's late in the tourny and you just have a medium range stack. Your holding, say queen 8 suited. Bets aren't too high. Flop is any old thang with 2 of your suited cards. Bettings not to wild or high and your poition is 2nd to last bet. Spo now you've got 4 suited cards and let's say you have to put up maybe an 8th of your stack. No suited card on the turn. Betting comes around and u have to put up another 8th of your stack. Do you chase the last card or fold. And you have to remember I'm speaking about General situation here. Any old game any old time. |

| RE: flush draw questions generally you are only going to fill your flush draw 1 out of 6 times from this postion @ the flop. if you can chase the other 2 cards for little amount of chips I would at least take a chance at the turn, but most of the time I don't. ( and this is even worse with the cards your holding ) in this stiuation seems like you have pot odds to call though. |
