Really no responses? Well, its too late for me to give advice for the FTOPS event, which I completely forgot about . But just remember basic stuff, like completing the bring in when you have a low card showing regardless of the other two, especially when in position. If you are directly to the right of the bring in with a low card showing and the guy to your right completes with a low card, chances are if you raise, and bet the next street, he'll give it up. Remember, you are playing deeper stacks here, so you have to take these opportunities.

Razz is my top game, beautiful game. ALTHOUGH, i'd have to disagree with the raising when showing a strong hand when having bad cards. This might work on some tables, but in tournament, I think playing strict, very tight razz is the way to go. I personally will play 8 low start hands, calling, 6-7 low starting hands, one raise, and good 6 lows and wheel starting hands, caping to max Any card 9 or higher, I generally fold. This is all on a full table in tournament settings though. There are many times when you can bluff also. Example, you have KQ4, with the 4 showing. You're dealer position. Everyone folds to you, and small and big blind are showing 10 and J. This is an easy pot to steal (and in razz, stealing pots is important, because everyone has an anti in). So just max it, and they should fold. If they call, and you get a followup good card and they a mediocre, just bluff them again. Anyway, I'd recommend playing a tight, very picky game until you really get the hang of the game. Then you can start experimenting a bit more. IN razz, I find it to be very valuable also on table games, to build up a tight table image. That way, you can set up some anti steals when the situations are right, and won't be called off by people thinking you're bluffing.

You will do well if you follow this simple strategy and do not get greedy. 3 cards 7 and under call, if not do not call. if you get a 10 or over on your next card fold unless your opponents got something worse. keep following this and you should do fine. but do not be greedy
