1. at a FR table, with 7+ players limping preflop, whats the best way to play AK and other high ace-x hands from the blinds?
2. same table, with just as many limpers. how should the medium pairs be played preflop? Example: 99 in cutoff, 5 limps in front. raise? just call?
3. still same table. play looser overall? play tighter overall?
4. monster draw on flop but board is paired. (8s 9s 8d, hero's hand is J10s) hero's 1/2 pot bet is raised all-in, for 3 times the pot size. Is this a clear fold?
5. your river bet with your nut flush is raised by villain who called every street from paired flop. can you fold your flush?

4-5 hard to comment on specific hands without more information: stack sizes, positions, preflop action, reads on the player, etc.

In micro's people will raise trips and lower flushes because, in their opinion, they are the nuts. So no you can't fold in most circumstances.

But if the board is KKTJQ a fold is easy to find

he will raise trips on the flop due to being scared of the FD

your last 3 questions are determined by a number of factors.

1. Do not raise AJs or worse. With AK, raise the size of the pot. Example: 5NL Holdem, 9 Handed, You are BB with $5.00. Everyone limps, SB completes. Hero raises to 0.50. Example 2: 5NL Holdem, 9 Handed, You are HJ with $5.00. Everyone limps. Hero raises to 0.37.

2. 88+ should raise the size of the pot. 22-77 should limp. See above for raise sizing. Why raise the pot? The money you put into the pot should be proportional to the strength of your hand. Never limp 88+ or AQ+.

3. You should definitely tighten up when the table is playing loosely. The key to winning poker is to see what everyone else is doing and do the opposite. Playing tightly, raise the pot every time you come into the pot. Using above example: Loose villian calls $0.38 with AJo, flop comes with an ace, trip to stack city.

4. Shove. With proper BRM the money won't mean much. If playing 25NL when your roll is $200, fold and quit poker.

5. Fold if the board is paired. You are beat. Otherwise call.
