| I pick rookie, because its straight cards, they are easier to read, they don't get creative about there hands. They don't play aggressive (for the most part unless a kamikaze) You don't have to worry about finding spots to bluff at. Yeah they do catch some stupid hands but for the most of the time you should be able to beat them. |

| re: Pro or Rookie poker I would rather play a rookie. Yeah they might make a few longshot draws and beat you, but if you play straight up poker and RARELY bluff, you should be very succesful over a short amount of time. TIP: Do not attempt to bluff players who can be labeled as "callers". Just bet your solid hands into them, and you will get paid off may times. Against a pro, he would recognize check-raises, play position very well, etc. I would rather win money from a loose 'rookie' than lose it all to a savvy pro who will know all the moves. |
