Preflop: TT in early position

Hey.

I was just wondering how you guys play TT in early position SB/BB etc?

I usually just call/check and hope that either:

A) a 10 comes down, or
B) a higher card, AKQJ DOESNT come on the flop.

Then I bet out if I get either A or B.

But this way of playing, I am basically relying on a lucky flop.... Is there a better way I could play it? Such as playing it aggressively pre flop (in early position)?

Thanks

-William

I would just limp in and if someone raises i would push all in ( pre flop). small raise also wouldnt be 2 bad to see how strong your hand is.

Errrr pretty loose actually cos I am still playing the low limit sng's....

Mainly all serious calling stations or hyper maniacs..... if one went all in pre flop very early in the game... there is a fair chance I would call with no hesitation!

i would say pocket 10's are not a good hand in torn play but worth a raise in a cash game.

With TT in early position you must make a standard raise (3 times BB) get any limpers out and if you get a call your opponent probably has at 2 cards above a J. and if no high card comes down make a good sized bet and they should probably fold.
Now if you get re-raiseed a big amount pre flop then i suggest you fold if you have enough chips back. But you must raise to see how strong your hand is.

Dont listen to that thats the worst way to play raise first then fold if you get a re-raise fold. i honestly never limp playing hold em fold or raise. agressive poker is winning poker.
