Obviously tightest under the gun only playing about 13% of starting hands. On the button however, a raise would only indicate that I hold 2 cards. The game I play is NL 5; 3 tables. My range will change slightly based on table dynamics but this is what I generally do. It appears to be a lose strategy but really I am trying to play lose for the small money and tight for the big money. My range also puts a big emphasis on suited connects vs playing dominated type hands to much. Looking foward to hearing some comments on this strategy. Remember when commenting that i am trying to give off a bit of a wild player image to get my big hands payed off...LizaBuv |

| The above range was for a full ring game. These ranges are only if someone has not yet opened the pot. If someone has limped ahead of me, my strategy does change somewhat. Sometimes I am more then happy to limp behind a limper. If I do raise, I raise a bit bigger then when I am opening the pot. Don't have an HUD but would guess I am close to VP 40 and PFR 28, but just taking a guess at that. Forgot to mention that I play my BU and when someone limps from the SB with the same range. Anything lower is just a check...LizaBuv |

I think sometimes I do better at 5nl than 10nl, and I am a big nit. |

| re: Preflop Comments poker UTG you will get into far too many tricky spots / be out kickered / will just die playing hands that arent solid out of position like A9s, KQ, AJ not to mention the likes of 10 9 suited! infact never playing AJ when UTG would be a good move. You have the right idea about loosening up but try to focus on this more in the last 2 or 3 positions, UTG and EP are dangerous spots and you should be really much tighter here. |
