the power of positive thinking

just wanted to share these two hands. don't bother analyzing them. The first one i was tilting, having just donked away most of my chips on the last hand, only to fold what would have been the best hand. Had A-10, and right before the flop I thought 'gimme J-6-2' figuring that was just my luck, and it came J-4-2, and so i just threw the rest of my chips away. it was a cheap tournament. The second hand, the very next hand i played after the last one, another cheap buy in, first hand pocket 10's, all in pre flop against JJ, and the whole time i'm thinking, 'i'm gonna get the 10 on the river' and sure enough i caught it. Just a coincidence i'm sure, but i thought it was funny.

When I go allin I don't say "let me catch a 10 on the river" I say "HE won't catch that A on the river" . He usually does catch it.
