Pot Odds Limit HE Another Straight draw question. According to pot odds is there any open enders you should fold with 4 others in the hand? Ex. On the button, one bet everyoen calls. This ones a no brainer. What about this one though. .50/1.00 HE You have Js 10C 4 others in hand you are mid position. preflop you call and one riase behind you. everyone calls. 5 handed 2.50 pot flop is 8h 9d ac sb bets, BB calls, UTG Raises YOu? Remember there is action behind you. Now lets say the answer is call. You call Button raises SB caps BB folds UTG calls, You??

Given the action you'll get if you do hit your straight, I think you need to call pretty much any bet. The major exception to this is if there is a flush draw on the board as well (or already a flush possibility) or a pair on the board, because in those scenarios, either some of your outs are eliminated or you could even be drawing dead.

When the action gets back to you to call $1 and the pot is ~$7 already you absolutely have odds to draw to 8 outs for the nuts. You're about 1/6 to hit the turn, so you have immediate odds, nevermind the implied odds of the bigger bets on next streets. You're about 1/3 to hit by the river in a 3way pot...and you're not going to put anything in on the river if you miss.

I think it's important also to realize that with 3 or more opponents, you want to put as much money as possible in on the flop. In the extreme example, if this were NL and you had JTo on a A-9-8 rainbow flop, and three people went all-in on the flop before the action was on you, you should always call. Your equity (read: chance to win) is going to be over 30%, but you're only putting in 25% of the money.
