| PLO, brag/analysis/question I have just recently started playing PLO. The following HH is more of a brag but would still like to know if I played the only way to get the best value from it, or did I play it too aggressive which may not always work and I would end up chasing money away from the table? Following the HH are my session stats(not Poker Tracker stats), and are those numbers too high for even PLO? | Nice starting cards there Shine. I've only been playing a month or so at .02/.05 but the line looks fine to me. PLO gets more chasers and low levels like we're playing gets more chasers than higher levels so I don't know that it was too aggressive. Your total flops seen is higher than what I usually have; somewhere around 40% at 6 max. Maybe someone with more experience has a more useful analysis. |

| re: PLO, brag/analysis/question poker I'm not sure if that was a pot max bet or not on the turn, but I would say maybe you should bet a little less on the turn simply because I'm assuming if he raised you pot max on the turn your gonna call. The hand worked out great for you this time but thats a situation that can get ugly especially when you start to move up in blinds betting pot on the turn out of position with that flop texture. The more you bet on the turn the more the person in position can raise you, and that turn card is a double scare card, the guy you were playing against didn't have a straight or flush that time, but in that situation alot of times the player in position will. If the person has a straight or flush and you bet pot on the turn and that person raises you pot max his raise is gonna be much bigger than if you bet $1 or like .90 into that pot. If you call your only outs are an ace or the board pairing, or getting him to fold by betting which could get you reraised again on the river or called most likely the least. So just keep that in mind when your betting out of position |

| I check/call a reasonable bet on that turn, since the 9h is the worst possible card in hte deck to hit as it completes the open ender and the flush draw, aswell as several possible wrap draws. After 2 villains have called on the flop, it is likely that 9 hit on of them, so i'd rather check and call a reasonable bet to hit a full house |
