Playing small stake cash tables, 6-seaters

I'm new to this site, so forgive me if this subject has been covered before, but what strategies/starting hands would you employ for playing small-stake cash tables, 6 players maximum.
The reason I ask is because I mainly play sit and gos, or tournaments/freerolls, where I'm tight/agressive. But it seems to me tight/agressive is not gonna work on a short-handed(is that the right expression?) table.
And when I say small stakes, I mean real small stakes, 2c/4c NL(don't laugh, I'm just building up my bankroll!), would that affect the table play, as people arent too worried about losing that kind of money?
Do I play like I normally do? ie big pairs and premium hands raise PF, limp in with small pairs/suited connectors with the odd bluff when I'm in a good position, or do I have to loosen up a lot?

I'd say if you're a tight aggressive player, hit up the 10-handed ring games.
You'd do much better. The 6-handed rings bring the most profit for the super aggressive types.

I can't really give you a starting hand guide saying to play K9o and 33 like its AA, but really that's sometimes what it comes down to.
I'm like you; tight and aggressive, and do best at 10-handed tables where you play a top-10 hand style and punish the looser players there.
If it's too boring for you playing one hand every 10 mins, then try multitabling with two ring games.
If you really want to play 6-handed games though, you really have to loosen your hand selection up because you're not going to get the AAs KKs and AKs every other hand. Not even the ATs...
Neither will you be hitting flops that often; alot of 6-handed play is flop representation too.

edit: i see that youre playing 1c/2c tables. The play at 10-handed tables (or any for that matter) at this level are reeeeally loose, so playing a tight aggressive style will make a nice profit off of it.

ah thanks Chuck, for the reply, I never realised I should try 10 seater tables with my style, but it makes a lot of sense. Also about playing two tables at once so I don't get bored.
As for you ranting, nah, not at all, I love reading about poker, and prefer to have more info than less.
I'll see how I get on, who knows, one day I could be playing the 5c/10c big boys tables.........!

2c/4c 6-max = variance city.

I strongly recommend something like the $1 45 player SNGs on Stars instead for building from a very small bankroll.

If not, I also recommend playing full ring, as with all the donks that are around just waiting to pay you off you can happily sit back and just play premiums and a few marginals in late position and profit (though again the variance will be huge as half a dozen people will routinely be seeing the flop).

Well I tried the micro stake 10 seater's at Noble yesterday, playing real tight-aggresive, 2 tables at the same time, managed to quadruple my table money in about an hour, people were betting on anything, so I think this is the way forward for me. Thanks guys
