| playing a high pocket Lets say you get dealt QQ. You place a strong bet and get a caller. flop comes, A 2 6. You are worried about the ace and you raise to see if the caller has the ace. There is a good chance he precalled with something like ace and high kicker. the caller reraises allin, a common mistke i see is when the person with the QQ calls the allin then loses big. A good poker play can fold the reraise. Any other tips i can learn from?? |

| With big pocket pairs, often expectations are high leadiing to big bets and all ins like you describe. I try to temper my expectations (although this doesn't always happen!). Sure, great starting hands but post flop requires good analysis and reading of your opponents like any hand you are dealt. |
