| Playing different forms of holdem - does it work? Hi again. I have started playing limit cash games - $2.00/4.00 - and I am doing well. Made about $300 profit in Jan BUT...my no limit SNG and MTT form has dipped. I have gone from a profitable SNG player on Pokerstars to a loosing player (although this started to happen in December) I`m not winning in MTT but that is because I`m playing less MTT, so I know why that is. Has anyone else found a similar problem or do u guys think it is pure coincidence? |

| It sounds to me like just a case of getting used to a different game (cash is much different from MTT which is pretty different from SnG). They all involve different skills like low-M play in tournies with lots of preflop play vs lots of preflop and postflop play in cash games. I say stick to whatever you're best at to keep your mind focused on one game, and if you want to expand to something else then play strictly that. |
