Playing AA in Limit Holdem

Ok I thought Id post a hand each day or so and ask you guys to outline your stratagy on how it should be best played.

So I thought Id begin with AA

Preflop

Raise Raise and Raise provided there are at least 3 people in the pot - Its a big hand and deserves a bit more than the blinds So in early position I might just post the blind and hope that someone else raises the pot a bit more. Middle - late position I would raise. Now there is some money in the pot Im happy to take the cash and run. Less than 3 and Id let them see the flop cheaply. Means Ill win less often with AA but Ill make that back in the fact that the pots are bigger. also adds some deception,

im more inclined to raise with AA from all positions, how much can u really gain by letting them see a cheap flop in limit? imo u would lose more by doing that, i dont think u need as much deception in limited games as u do in no limit/ pot limit games and i dont see the need to get deceptive unless ur playing with ppl who have reads on u

limit is my favorite, and i can say one thousand times over you raise the s**t outta that hand no matter what from any position. even if you are on the button or SB, you raise it. Why? - BB will call often, and if you simply limp in, the pot is 1/2 the size of what it would be if you raise + he calls. The best way to sucker him into seeing a 4th st. off a bet is in a raised pot.

AA becomes much weaker with each player that enters the hand in LHE. Honestly, I pretty much raise 100% of the time.

Unlike no-limit, in limit you can't win someone's stack with a deceptive or hidden hand. They key to limit is getting the most money in when you have the most equity. With AA, you have a higher expected value then any other hand pre-flop.

You say you will make back the difference in lost pots because the pots will be bigger due to your deception. This is incorrect. One more big bet here or there from a hand that doesn't put you on aces won't come close to making up for all the VALUE you lose by not raising when you have the most equity, combined with the increased number of pots you will lose by letting weaker hands in cheaply that then outflop you, and you won't know you're behind until you've put a few bets in anyway.

Not raising with AA preflop in limit hold 'em has got to be one of the worst limit mistakes you can make.
