Do you think this increases or decreases your chances ?

i think decreases, because more people are "gunning" for you.

why would you even want to do it? daring someone to bust you out of a tournament? nay tourneys are about patience and endurance man.

If someone else puts a bounty on you, I think it's definitely +ev for you because they are playing differently based on their change in ev and thus giving you more ev. Of course if you put the bounty I'm not sure the change in ev is enough to make up for the extra money you put up.
