PL Omaha - cash struggling

Hello all,

My name is Andrei and i try to beat the micro limits in pot limit omaha.. i have a big problem playing in bankroll and ussualy i make a lot of money and loose it because of tilt and an uncontrolable desire to recover the money i lost in tilt.. so i get to increase limits and go broke quite fast.

I need any kind of help like, books and other goo materials about pot limit omaha..

i made a lot of money in omaha and due to my off br play and anger management issues, tilt i lost half of it at least..

i need to play more strategically and less like a gambler.. all your input is welcome,

Due to my br problems, i want to mention that i have more than 100k hands at cash games and i have the basics of the game.. so i am not a newbie trying out omaha. I played a lot of PLO100 and i lost the value of money..

Well, dont know of many books except The Theory of Poker, it covers most games. You can read most of it online.

Vanessa Selbst did some videos called 2X6 (or something like that) that may be some help if you can find them. I can't remember which site they're on but they may be on youtube

You and me both man, I've recently got into PLO and man it's such a degen game. I can't help but play though it's so fun, just writing this I'm gonna have to get some hands in.

When you say you have the basics, what exactly do you mean? What's your general strategy for PLO? The more details you give us the more help we can give you.

I wouldn't recommend Vanessa Selbt for bankroll mgmt. - she is very successful nlhe tourney player but Im not sure she is a winning cash player at nlhe and definitely not at plo. I think you should just start with the very basic strategy of having 40 buy ins before you play at a certain level - PLO is by far the most swingy game you can play and plays way bigger than NLHE no matter what level you play. This is a very hard game to win at if tilt is your major issue.

I love playing omaha or omaha8... Usually play at the 5 cent 10 cent table and usually do well. Then I get confident go to bigger stakes and take a beat and lose my profit... Its a game when you are on a heater roll with it, the minute you lose a couple that you should win get off the table.. It will help your profits..

If you can't handle swings, don't play PLO. Also no matter how good you get at PLO if you can't hand the swings and go on tilt and move up in stakes to recover loses you will never have success. The best high stakes PLO players have been known to have normal 40 buy in downswings at this game.
