patience

hellow everyone,
i know we all know that patience is the key, but it really is. i learned that whenever i lose my attitude i tend to play idiotic hands and end up losing bigger. be patient. i need to learn myself still.

I want to thank the OP for this

This has just come at the right time for me

After a great start to the month playing ring games I started to hemorage cash. I now know why. After a good run of cards I started to get anxious and ended up playing way to many hands, calling down way too many ppl when behind, etc.

I am being serious, btw - Thanks for reminding me mac

I've been sitting out in the beginning of tournaments until the blinds get larger.
This strategy works for me. Donkeys play crazy when the blinds are small and usually suck out on me, which makes me loose my patience.

Thanks for the reminder. Even the obvious falls from view from time to time.

Sometimes a post may seem just a bit overworked, but Iwould rather see a valid attempt at a decent post than 15 entries in the lounge advising us that the weather is cold in Hawaii or some such nonsense.

Been playing for years? Probably a reminder you might not need. Been playing for a week? Maybe good advice for those hearing it for the first time.

Welcome to Cardschat, Mac.

What the hell is this, someone writes 2 lines (1 full and 2 half lines) and gets more comments than my full length strategy article

Is that a surprise to you? Happens pretty regularly.

I agree 100% with the patience factor especially in Mtt's you need to have it to finish grueling hrs of play!

And to think all along they just keep telling me I play to tight
