Partypoker vs Paradise

I have been playing the single table tournies at Paradise and Party. It seems like at Partypoker I can play ultra tight (sometimes not a hand in the first 3 rounds) and end up placing in the money but I find it much harder to win with this strategy at Paradise. Has anyone else noticed the differences between the 2 sites

PPParty Poker is probably the best known online poker room. Use the Party Poker bonus code CC500 for a 100% upto $500 deposit bonus.

Absolute PokerAbsolute Poker Referral Code CCHAT will get you a 100% upto $500 bonus at AbsolutePoker.com.

Nope Alson the answer is pretty simple really. The players at Paradise are better on average than the ones on Party

I would have thought with the micro tables at paradise that would have brought in more junk players instead of vice versa but you're probably right.

My post was a joke reply to yours making fun of some of the tin-foil hat crowd and their conspiracy theories.

XD is right. The skill level of the opposition will dictate what style of play is most proffitable at each site respectively. Usually the more commercially recognized and larger sites will have more fish and a lower level of skill simply because of the traffic generated by advertisement in magazines and television.

lol ever seen Signs, diablo?

^^^Alon it's also in part because i think that most of paradise's tourneys are TURBO
meaning the blinds probably catch up to your tight play

i found, when i played in their freerolls, i HAD to get lucky early to have a chance because the blinds raise so often
if i didn't i would find myself shortstacked agaist massive chip leaders and desperate for hands with the blinds reaching 1/8th or 1/4 of my stack in no time
don't know if its the same with SnGs though

I hate party Poker...It seems to me like partypoker makes the hands ridiculous so that they get a better rake...i have been in hands where i flop trips and someone will call with high card Ace and two running Aces will come...Its absolutely crap!

I havent played much at PartyPoker, but its a big enough site that I would assume it's legit. Just stay away from the smaller sites if possible, even though people who have never played there tend to defend them......

yea

I have so also noticed that the players at partypoker are worse than the ones at paradise. If you want to get lucky sometimes and play bad poker go to pp and if you want to get better and learn and then make money play at paradise poker.

I've only played at party poker once. Paradise is one of my favorite sites but don't let that blackjack link get the best of you. I lost alot of money in a little bit of time getting beat terribly on there blackjack. I do like playing poker there and usually do well in the tourneys. gl all
