I was wondering if there are any books or articles I can read online to gain some tips and strategies in Texas Holdem.

Read the strategy articles here (tab on top of the main page) and get involved in the strategy forums. Feel free to ask questions and read other people questions/replies by regulars. There are a lot of very talented people here that will be happy to help you out with any poker questions.

Many 'poker strategy' sites will have affiliate links, and are kind of competing with cardschat for your sign-up dollars, so we can't post much in that regard.
There are some good strategy articles on CardsChat, though, and more than that there are various discussions of bankroll management, table selection, table image, hand analysis and so on in the forums - there's a wealth of information on here if you browse through enough, or search for things like 'starting hands'.
Looking through discussions of other people's hands will tend to give you multiple views on how a hand could have been looked at, which can help to get a feel for the range of approaches to a situation.
