| Omaha High/Low My favorite poker game has become Omaha High/Low. I can normally place third or better in a 9 person field. My key is to play only hands that have a high hand and a low hand combo. Also watch the allin's, cause a lot of players are agressive and go all in at the start to build a lead. LittleSip |

| starting hands A2 is ok if you are playing limit omaha hi/lo providing the table is very loose. the problem with just A2 is that you will only ever make the nut low and not the high i.e. you are only playing for half the pot. If i am just playing playing for the low i prefer to have another low card e.g. a 3 or a 4 so that i do not get counterfitted. Playing just an A2 in pot limit omaha hi/lo is definately a loosing play, the key to pot limit omaha whether it be omaha high or omaha hi/lo is to have all four cards working together e.g. AA23 or A256: both these hands have nut high and nut low potential. |
