Odd Charts Does anyone use odd charts or stuff like that for 6max no limit holdem. I am always wondering what the odds are of me hitting st8s/flushs/full houses/and other hands. what do people use for know these odds or do you jsut do it in your head everytime. the problem for me is that i dont want to have to fingure out the odds of me hitting a hand while there are other things i can be think about.

their very important, odds alone will dictate whether you become a donk or a succesfull player, i actually have a full tilt table mod with the odds right on it, but yes i do use charts for some dessicions but i just ussally use a pre flop profitable play calulator for certain situations in mtt and sng tournaments. i actually have an entire work book i open up when i play that tracks my bankroll and gives my current levels of play and has some odds pages and diffrent calculators on it. i dont know how to get it onto the forum or i would put it up here for people to use who dont want to purchase poker tracker. any one who does want it can send me a private msg and we can work out a way for me to get it to them if they want it.

re: Odd Charts poker Odds have been costing me a lot of money lately. I was heads up in a tourney yesterday and had two 15 outers in 3 hands and both times the guys pairs turned to trips. In two hands I went from chip leader, to out, because of dam odds. But when I fold a 4 out gut shot, or a 2 out PP, it's sure to hit.

I think odds are extremely important though, especially against loose, aggressive players. Even if you're on a draw, against that kind of player you never know what he has and depending on the draw you can even be ahead in the hand. On the other side of the coin, if a tight, passive player is betting at you, you might throw odds out the window and give up without 'em. More or less, I think it depends on the kind of opponent you are facing.
