Well hello there. September went out with a bang and I am back to being only about 4 1/2 buy-ins away from being able to move up to 10NL. Mainly going to be playing on FT as usual, but since HEM now has hand grabber support for Bodog, I might play over there a little bit. The small amount I've played there it seems like the players are really soft and I have quite a bit of money over there, so why not. Last month I put in almost 30k hands, so it's be nice to beat that this month. Want to go back to getting at least Bronze level Iron Man.

Have they changed Iron man? As far as I knew it was in a 50/100/200 points scale? Now it seems to be 50/125/250. Confused

Also, -6 buy-in session to start October, nice.

Yes it changed as of today. They said they made the change because it was easier to earn points under the new system. Should be easier for those who only meet the min. 50 points or who play HU or 6max, but for FR players it will require more hands to meet the higher levels. And we get to do it all for less!

Yeah - main downsides: the rake is a bit higher, there are lots of regs, and the software is very average/bad.

What about if I just want to post a hand bragging or bitching but not looking for any kind of analysis? I do post hands in HA when I'm looking for feedback, but there are sometimes when I just want to post a hand for people to see. I saw C9's post and I understand what he was talking about in most cases, but there are a lot of times when people aren't looking for review.

Just won 2 buy-ins so October is now only -4 100FTP's today, another session in a bit to finish the day off. October is serious grind, hopefully my first real month of the stuff.

Another 2.5 buy-ins and the month is looking up again haha.

I'm assuming at the BC store the bonus' you can buy are purchased with FTP's? If they are then wow, that's a massive improvement in player rewards from FT. I'm not sure if they're over priced but it's straight up bonus and I'm sure is the best way to spend FTP's from now on.

EDIT: Lol posted in wrong thread (always wondered how someone could do that) but I'll leave it here. Also, I think the previous way to spend FT points was tourney tickets or not at all. A $256 ticket to the Sunday brawl costs 55k FTP's. A bonus from the BC store for $250 costs 65k. If you enjoy tournaments then I'm sure spending them on tickets is still legit, but for pure cash grinders, there's no contest now.

Thinking it through, the rakeback will hit it obv, but I'm still sure it's a viable option.

I still prefer the Stars store to the FTP store by a long way...
