Newbie - analyzing play w/PT3 I've been back at online poker for a little over a month and am trying to be more deliberate by analyzing my play with PT3. I new to stat software so am trying to figure out where the leaks in my game are but am not sure what to look for. I'm playing mostly 5NL FR on pokerstars. I'm posting here for any comments. (edit) - I'm not sure how to get the images to look nice in the thread like I see others.

Very small sample but I can gleen quite a fair bit! Stop open-limping Become positionally aware Raise more Stop filling the SB and play MUCH tighter when raising OOP from the blinds Learn about blind stealing but don't defend against it too often. Post your positional date when you have a decent-ish 20-30k hand sample Read up about fixing your red line. Try to think ahead before you call a raise or a bet because over playing mediocre holdings and leaving yourself in awkward spots OOP makes that red line head south!

Wow - much appreciated feedback. I do tend to limp w/marginal hands sometimes. I thought I was 'controlling the pot size'. With small or mid pocket pairs or suited connectors I just want to see the flop and decide whether to continue or fold I'll tighten my range and think raise/fold.

Practice is hard... Lost $10 in a 2 hour session on Sunday using the new strategy. Spent 4 hours last night in 2NL and got back $2 of it. My Poker IQ is definitely not there yet. |

re: Newbie - analyzing play w/PT3 poker small poker pairs, just raise them if you are the first to act, i do it from any position, otherwise if someone already opened try to see a cheap flop or simply let it go. also, at this level, a good weapon are suited connectors in multi-way pots, there will be plenty of these spots and if you make a good hand, 2 pair at least, you can take down a huge pot, try and play them as much as possible in position.
