OK, first off I have to admit I still have Windows XP, and Stu has already chided me about this (in a nice way) and told me to get with the times. So I will be getting Windows 7 sometime this year. I mention this due to software like Key Poker that does not work well with XP, and software will probably be a big part of my problwm.

BUT, I think it is not only software.

I have recently started playing FR and running up to 10 tables. started at 2 and worked up 8 is pretty easy. 10 is kinda kicking my ass.

I have a big problem with 10 tables and missing hands, getting sat out, getting timed out on hands I want to bet and so on. I have a 28" screen but can only tile 4 tables and still see good. I can tile 6 but then need my glasses.so i tile 4 and have 2 stacks of 2 and 2 stacks of 3. I try to cascade them a bit so I can click on the edge of a table to bring it up. I play poker stars. I dont know why, but they dont always pop up. It may be that I am on a table with a decision, another pops up and I click the table I need to make my decision on to get it back, and the other then is no longer in front, and if I dont bring it up myself, I get timed out.

I tried 10 three sessions so far, and the first 2 times were hectic but ok. Today I felt 10 was too much, making bad decisions, spewed a lot of cash today, as well as running bad. Had my FH hit a better FH, had my trips hit quads. But that is ok, but I made a bunch of spewey decisions as well. and I think it was that the 10 were just too much today. However, my goal is to have 16+ so I need to move up from 8 someday, since I feel totally ok with 8 I guess now is a good time (?)

So as a cash multitable noob, and tips are welcome. Links to threads as well.

thanks

I stack up to 12 tables on one monitor, and have hotkeys to pull tables out and put them in a tile of 4 on my other monitor for when i want to concentrate on a hand, i'd invest in tableninja if i were you, it helps TONS when mutlitabling, no time outs at all and requires pretty much no effort to get up and running.

+1
There are also other programs that are supposed to work equally as well or better, but I have yet to try them myself.

Its all KeyPoker these days. Table ninja only works on one site. KeyPoker works on tons of sites.. simultaneously!

Yep, you can see my setup here: [old link~tb]

You just need a video cable to go from your laptop to your monitor/TV.

multitabling is great specially if you want to earn fpps but there is not much skill or hand reading there unless you have a photographic memory...
