Well thanks... I do have one question... might be a lil complex but how exactly do you count outs and odds?

well i guess i can give you a quick lesson.....

outs are easy......

for example you have KK
and someone else has AQ

the flop comes A 10 Q

outs count for how many cards are available to you to hit.....for example you could hit a K and hit trips to be ahead on the flop.....since there are 2 Kings left in the deck that is 2 outs!.....follow me
ok were not done....if the flop is A 10 Q then you could also hit a straight with a J....so there is another 4 outs since there are 4 jacks in the deck....

therefor meaning you could have a possible 6 outs!

these could chane if he makes a full house(your card dead) unless you have royal flush draw

this all applies to flushes and straights, but remember there are other players who fold so they could have folded one of your outs.....just remember that....unless your heads up!

odds....well thats some more work.....id say search it in the forum...the search option is at the top on the home page look for it!

I think I know the problem. You've been playing play money for 6 years so you're obviously insane. The only thing left to determine is if you were that way at the beginning or if the play money tables have driven you there.

Just keep reading and asking questions and the "group" will give you the "therapy" that you need.

Read a lot of these.

Decide which game you like or you think your good at, cash game (full ring or 6max), Sit n go's, or MTT's.

Then starts posting strategy questions and post hand histories so you can receive help.

My top tip, fwiw, read the Bankroll management threads. do not underestimate the value of good BRM.
