Multi-tabling at @2NL I am starting to step up my multi-tabling. Just a month ago I had a hard time keeping up with 3 tables at a time but now I feel like I can handle as many as 15. Looking for other MT grinders to review my numbers and let me know if the BB/100 and BB/ Hour seem reasonable for the sample size. The only thing I am nervous about is that over 27 sessions I have had 20 winning sessions and 7 losing so I don't know if I am on a good run or not. Also as you can see the rake is killing me. I am biding my time before moving up to 5NL. Right now my BR is 41 BI for 2NL. I am toying with the idea of waiting until I have 105 BI @ 2NL PLUS 5 BI for 5NL ( $ 235) with the rationale being that if I move up I want 5 'trial' Buy-ins at the new rate plus 5 buffer buy-ins if I have to drop back down so If I end up tilting a little from a failed move up I'll still have 100 BI at 2NL. Not sure if that is too conservative of a BR managment plan.

Build up to at least 100 BI at each level you play IMO.For Variance. The way your going should'nt take you long to get to $500.00 to start playing .02-.05 Last edited by ALL IN CLUBS : 5th November 2010 at 10:34 PM. Reason: misspelled

I might go with 25 BI @ 5NL (20 BI BR+ 5 trial BI) plus 5 buffer BI @ 2NL. That would be $ 135. That seems reachable in a few months. That would also give me at the current rate of play over 100k hands at 2nl and by then I hope to have acquired a much better understanding of counting outs, pot odds, equity vs a range and bet sizing. |

Just one thing fx... How tight can you get? i only have like 100 hands on you (surprised we havnt seen each other more) and your pr is like 4... that is eventually going to have to open up.. i'm no expert in cash but i know that is verryy tight. Just wondering what do you have recorded for your vpip and pfr?

Hmm those stats are quite dif to the extremely small sample i have.. i thought you were extremely tight from what i saw off you, although i am playing 8+ tables so i am not getting an amazing read. The biggest thing i see in those stats arethat you are too tight on BB, you would be surprised how often 3 betting the button or sb raiserand a c-bet on the flop pays off.

Coming from a multitabler, since I am a multitasking junky, if You have the ability to think fast, it becomes more or less like a reflex. If you have a specific plan stick to it, and it really isn't hard to play. One very useful trick I developped: Stack your tables. Often enough I find tables with fishes, or even MEGA fishes. So what I do, is when I notice a fish, (someone shoving pre Q 9 and winning for example), I take that specific table and get it out of my stacked tables. I know have a constant eye on that fishy table and I can get my money in good. Pay attention, I fount out that sometimes, 90% VPIP players don't necesserely shove with Q7. Alot of players will do 90%/40% with only min raise and fold on reshove all the time. I think they are trying to catch the multitablers who only look at their PT3 / HEM manager. Unless I have a decent proof that the player is a fish, I wont call with my 10/10 on a 3bet shove from a 90/40 player. Finaly, your BRM is decent, I also am doing prety much the same thing. I am at 120$ right now, As soon as I cash my 10$ stellar reward from the 60 FPP remaining, I will withdraw and move to a site with rakeback, hopefuly full tilt will allow it for my account. If I have 150$ I will move up in limits, if I piss cash of I will go down in limits again and so forth.
