| Multi Tabing Hello New to the site, joined to start chating to poker players and get advance. At the moment im starting to Multi Tab online at $0.10/$0.25 blinds, but I need to get a new screen for my computer. I was consider buying a 32inch screen or is this to big or could that size of a screen be sore on my eyes? Play alot of poker, left education to become a pro which everyone laughs at but i have faith in my skills of the game lol. I play mostly cash games at casino's £1 and £3 blinds and play online at PokerStars under the name ChrissyLogue, its also my full tilt name. Going to start playing PartyPoker as i've heard some good reports on it. Get in touch or even top me a private message. Thanks ![]() |

| What screen are you currently using & how many tables do you typically play on it? (reason for question > what are you used to ... ie. some can play 9 tiled tables on a 17" laptop screen, others would find it difficult to view more than 2tables on a screen of that size). imo, 32" sounds a tad on the HUGE size. If I was going from start up (wasn't adding on to what I already have), I'd probably go with 2 x 24" screens (or maybe 2x 27") instead of one 32". On one 23.5" screen that I use (along with laptop 17"), I'll typically play 9 tables on it (with lots of room) but occassionally play 12 tables on 23.5" screen (& add in another 4-6 on laptop). I'm quite comfortable with viewing small tables though. Also, with 12tables on a 23.5" there is a weee tiny big of overlap 'width-wise' but a bit of space on the height (3 rows of 4tables obviously). |

| i hav considered 2 or 3 screens, at the moment I play 4 tables. but there overlaping which is very annoying, with a 32inch you could have lots of room and when you take your skills up to 6 or 8 tables you won't have to spend any more money on a bigger screen because you oready have space. how many tables do you play? what blinds? and are you getting much profit each week? |

I read soooo many posts like this & if it truly was this easy, then there'd be millions doing it. I'm not sayin' you're not going to be one of the ones who does make it, just suggesting that you might want to re-consider things a bit. ok... I've gotta be honest here (instead of sounding like a condescending jerkwad)... I searched ur name out of curiousity, & watched a couple of hands you played in the recent past & got me to thinking I should say what I said above > stick with education/career/work, make poker playing a fun hobby (there are many 'hobby/recreational' players who put in some serious time & also profit from it decently). Only telling you this to try to 'help you out'. |

I'd go with one 24" ('maybe' 27") screen & then later get another of the same size. |

| south coast of england here, devon. rakeback is basically every hand that you are dealt cards the site takes rake, if you get rakeback you get some of it back, typically 27-30%, which soon adds up. google it, and get it before you join the poker site. |

| Forget size and think resolution. You will fit exactly the same number of tables on a 32" as a 24" if they run the same resolution. Also TVs are not monitors, as they usually have completely different refresh rates. As a rule TVs are not designed for close work and the lower refresh rate can cause headaches when reading small text for long periods of time. Hence a 24" monitor is usually more expensive that the same sized TV. |
