| Well its kinda tricky cause these players seem to mix up their game a lot, which makes them probably the most difficult players you can be up against, but i would say that you would usually have to do some value betting and have a pritty tight game. If they are agressive, then you will eventually get your shoot at them, and at that point you'll get both the money and the respect at the table. Hope i helped. |

| re: Loose Passive Aggro Players poker The real fact of the matter is this guy isnt exactly to be played against a certain way. Those statistics mean nothing. Only what the guy has done with the cards hes been dealt in the last 40 hands. You should have strategy and technique to crush anyone without changing your own game drastically. Also I think you should let aggressive players fire out as much as they want and just wait to pounce. Alot more profitable than having a firefight with a damn madman. Just dont build big pots and if you think hes bluffing, pressure him, especially in position when he checks. |

| Well I am one of those loose aggresive players. The best way to beat people like me is to A. have a good bankroll, (when your loose and super aggresive you tend to get lucky a lot) B. Always be in position against those players. C. If you think you have the best hand you have to RAISE.(if you just call them down their hand can catch up, in other words they cant fold to a call)D. Raise a good amount, if you raise weak they will try to take the pot away and put you to a decision for all the money in play. Its hard to call unless you have a super strong hand. And finally you have to have the balls to make some big calls and dont tilt when they suck out on you, which they will pretty often. Those are the things that work against me anyways, hope it helps. Oh yeah and dont forget even a crazy loose moron picks up a good hand every once in a while, so be careful. |

For me, right now, I leave the table. Unlike a nit short stack, they're in every hand and I don't have the patience to wait for a big hand against them. 3 betting preflop, reraising post flop doesn't stop some of them. |

| This is a very powerful post from "The Rake". I am not sure if he is as loosely aggressive all the time, (PERHAPS WE ALL ARE SOME OF THE TIME), but the advice is valid either way. This type is less likely to back off. You might bait him into a fat re-raise when you are quite sure you have him beat, and then he catches a ride on the river. To summarize, a good raise, but don't try to force him out, appears to work best. Leftylou Quote:

in any case if the guy is loose preflop, that can be easily exploited by playing all your hands for value, and playing your made hands passively postflop, and your draws/semibluffs aggresively postflop |
