Looking for Advice I managed to free roll my way into Absolute pokers "Absolute Dream" final. Now I really have not played on that site too much and when I have it has only been free rolls never real money tourney's or tables. Any way, just looking for any info on the type of players I'll be seeing in this tourney (After all the maniacs are out of course)? Any advice is appreciated.

GL in the Dream Final. I don't remember anyone in particular having a specific read on the average folk at absolute. PQ mentioned once something about them, but that was a while ago. What I have found accross most of the online sites is that after the initial hoopla at the beginning of all tournies, the play generally gets much better, and for the most part gets better the same at all sites. You will of course see all types in that tourney. Again, gl in that one.

re: Looking for Advice poker gl, i generally cashed in the absolute freerolls when I played there (dont anymore) and I found a TAG outlook in the beginning worked and then i loosened up. I found people love to call all ins pf which is why anytime i got aces or kings I went all in and usually got at least one call early on

Since I don't know what the fiels is like in that event, probably the best approach I can suggest is to play abc poker at the beginning while trying to figure out the styles and tendencies of the other players at your table. Nothing magical about this. It's simply based on the relative unimportance of the early rounds, which means there's little reason to force the action.
