| Live Game Tells I know tells are overrated, betting ptterns are more important etc. However, there are three tells which I have noticed which seem to be quite the right ones. 1) The turn comes, and there are 3 cards of the same suit. Villain looks into his cards. Cmon thats a tell. He wonders whete he got the card of that suit or it was the other suit/same color. I am sure enough he wouldnt look in his cards if he got the flush already, because he has already understood he got flush draw on the flop. 2) Have u noticed how people react when they hit a monster on the flop. They definetely become calmer, stop chewing their gum, or simply freeze. THIS IS A TELL ! 3) You bet, villain looks in his cards, thinks a while and raises. Cmon. What he is looking in his cards, he is playing weak. He wants to play weak by looking in his cards, and to seem non-determined. He also simulates he is thinking for the same reason, and if this is not a tell. Please post such small things you have noticed other people do. Of course, no on can be pretty sure that those arent induced to play a mind game but in most average players those are quite good tells |
