| Live game poker strategy? Basically.. -10-15 people -you can buy in for whatever ammount you want -blinds always stay at $1/$2 -you can cash out whenever you want has anyone played this type of game? what are the basic strategies for something like that.. It seems kind of weird to me since if everyone buys in for ~$50 and you buy in for $100.. it gives you an advantage right of the bat. any input? |

| A basic guideline is to buy in 30x the big blind which would be $60. If that seems a little too small for comfort, $100 is more than adequate. I play in a $1-$2 game all the time in my home town and that's usually how much I buy in for. In a full ring game like that you have to tighten up your game. Don't raise in early positions, only in lte positions. Try to see a flop cheaply especially with suited cards. Tight but agressive. |
