Opponent was an older man who had reraised me earlier on turn after monotone flop and had K-high flush against my Q-high flush. He played almost every hand but didn't seem overly spewy. He had a $800 stack after getting in AI 3-ways with a set. |

| re: Live 1-2 NL hand poker Too deep to re-raise you still have 100bb after a call and what will call you? You can't fold now. It would be hard for him to call with trips, if he calls a raise he has flush+, and FH+ more than 50% of the time. What did he have? My guess is 8c 9c? |

Sure, but it's tough for a player to basically min. raise with nothing less than a straight. If he's raising 2 pr here and I fold bravo. |

| I'm not sure about flop, turn calls. I was definitely getting well over the 24 or 27 to one in implies odds as far as hitting my set. What actually ended up happening, is I tanked for a minute then folded faceup bc I thought he would never reraise with any flush, even nut flush. The J10 combo on the board is what made me fold. He did turn over J7 after I folded tho. Is calling the flop and turn bad? Why or why not? If he did have the nut flush, won't I make money? Live play tends to be tighter IMO, especially older players (40+). Online I probably would have just shoved. I'm interested in your opinions on the flop and turn. Thanks |

IMO he may fold AJ, KJ, he will call with a straight, a king high flush or an A high flush. Board: J♦J♣7♣ T♣ 2♦ Equity Win Tie MP2 57.45% 57.45% 0.00% { 2s2c } MP3 42.55% 42.55% 0.00% { JJ-TT, 77, JTs, J7s, 98s, JTo, J7o, 98o, AcJc, KcJc, AcTc, KcTc, Ac9c, Kc9c, Ac8c, Kc8c, Ac7c, Kc7c, Ac6c, Kc6c, Ac5c, Kc5c, Ac4c, Kc4c, Ac3c, Kc3c, Ac2c, Kc2c } If you were to add AJ, KJ (which I would for someone playing almost every hand) we have him so crushed its not funny. it imo |

| Unless I'm wrong with the implied odds, and I don't think I am, I was planning to make a move if I hit my set because I was pretty sure I would get called by any flush and probably a jack. However, when I was reraised and the way I was reraised, made me reconsider my opponents strength and I did end up folding. And I guess, maybe a little contrary from my opening post, my bigger question is, Am I right to call the flop and turn? |

| If you don't hit your set on the flop with small PP's...FOLD.. no point in playing your 22 with all overs on the board.. fold flop like everyone else is saying.. but as played you have to call don't you? you called to the river and hit the card you were hoping for.. why fold now? I guess maybe you realized you were beat, so folding saved you some money on the river, but you could have saved all of your money minus $2 had you folded on the flop. |

| re: Live 1-2 NL hand poker Normally I do fold small pps after missing, but his min bets kept me in. I guess I should just have folded anyway. I guess in a way it's almost like drawing to the bottom end of a straight. Drawing to a hand that's not the nuts. |
