| LAG and HAG I have been playing TAG for a while, I started as a tight passive player until i gained some confidence in my game, but lately i feel that I need to learn to play LAG and maybe HAG because i`m missing out on some opportunities, as you know best players in the game know how and when to switch around styles. I came accross an article about Patric Antonious and i was wondering where can i read more about this style. I know that a lot of European players play LAG and HAG and are pretty successful but in America i cant find any books that go into details about HAG or even LAG strategy. One i can think of and i`ll read is the Gus Hansen book. Are there any other books, or articles that explain this style in more detail? Thanks guys.. |

| What is HAG?! also a good style for you could be small ball. You raise with a higher range of hands and u almost always cont. bet and bet to find out where you stand. Look it up on you tube... theres a few videos of daniel negraneau explaining it |

| Small ball is pretty good but i dont see it working out at the micro levels (and thats where i play). Actually at those levels i`ve been pretty much on negative side everytime i changed my style from TAG. So maybe only TAG can work? I`ve seen many players try HAG and some of them say they are making money. So i just wanted to learn more about it... |

| re: LAG and HAG poker I guess it just depends on what you count as LAG v. HAG. This is from my Trying to be like Durrrr thread Quote:
