KK in a heads up situation I was in a freeroll, early stages and on the big blind. 15/30 blinds. I have KK and am in big blind position. He bets 70 so I raise him to 4 times the big blind. He calls. The flop is Qd 8h 2h I lead with a bet of the pot which stands at around 700 ( others had bowed out when I reraised him ). He then goes all in... I call. He has hit trip 6s, I am busted. Did I play it right. Should I have folded ? What would you have done ?

In an early stage of a freeroll, I'd probably just move all in preflop with the kings, especially since he raised first. You run into a lot of people who will call the all-in with little to nothing. In the end, you'd still have lost though, sometimes you can still play a hand right and lose.

re: KK in a heads up situation poker When a player bets and you raise you should do it in increments of his bet, not the big blind. If you had made it 4x70=280, you may have gotten a fold here. Maybe not. Either way I like your call on the flop. The chances of him having flopped a set are slim. Also, with the flush draw on the board he was much more likely to have a piece of that as opposed to anything that beats your KK. He also could have had a queen with a marginal kicker. Most players who have you beat in that situation would value bet as opposed to moving in, I would have put him on a high flush draw, and called. A case can be made for moving it all in as a reraise preflop, although I would not have. I like to have a chance to get away from AA before the flop and AK after an A comes on the flop. Raising 3-4 times his raise may get you additional information about his hand. Still, a good case can be made for either play. Other than pricing him in before the flop, you played ok.
