I would limp in middle if I thought a raise not likely or from late to see flop . not a great hand but good potienal . we'll see what the big boys think my suggestions is if you hate KJo then turn it around cause I know you like it that way JKo

It's a conservative strategy, but especially if you haven't got any reads on your opponents you could do worse. For me it's a very situational hand: sometimes I'll play it exactly the way you describe above, other times I might raise it from middle position or even limp it into a cheap multi-way pot. Depends on reads, opponents, tourney vs ring, tourney stage, etc. It's certainly a hand that can be easily dominated and can trip you up post-flop if you're not careful.

re: KJo poker I'm folding KJo every time unless I'm stealing. No way I'm limping it. If there are several limpers to me with KJo on the button I'd fold it. It's not that great of a hand, and is extremely easily dominated by other hands.

I would recommend you limp with it (if you limp), but try not to play it for a raised pot. It really depends on your reading ability. If you can get away from an opponent with AK or AJ when you make top pair, play it. If you are a player who nearly always comes in for a raise when you come in at all, you might raise if you get the 1st shot at the pot while folding if someone raises ahead of you. It is very situational. |

This hand is fools gold, all glitter without the substance. There are too many ways to get tripped up on this hand vs. making a legitimate hand. Too easily dominated so I only play it situationally and almost always from late position so I can get some kind of read after the flop since that is the true test for this hand, how are you going to play it after the flop, hot or miss?
