K 10 So I busted at the casino tonight, but I really want to just discuss whether or not I made the right call or should have folded. I was playing at a five person table with the two other guys in the hand(2 others folded pre-flop) wish massive chip stacks @ $600+. Everybody at the table were good players. Cash game. Blinds were $1 & $2. My stack was about $300. I had played pretty tight throughout the night, but was caught bluffing once with a lot of money in the pot :P Person to my left was very solid all night not bluffing a lot Person to my right was slightly intoxicated, nonstop talking, and eating a deli sandwich at the time. He also the chip leader at the time. Was caught bluffing more times than the other guy, but was also very solid too. I was dealt K 10 off Person to my left(Button) raises to $15 Person to my right calls I call. Flop comes 10C JD QH (I got low pair with open ended straight possibility) Person to my right checks I bet $30 to maybe scare em off if they didn't catch and be the aggressor Person to my left thinks for a while and calls Person to my right calls shortly after Turn comes 9C Person to my right checks I bet $60 because I caught my straight Person to my left thinks for a while and finally calls Person to my right goes All-In I think for about five minutes for a decision for all my chips thinking what this guy could possibly have. Worst case scenario he has the nuts with AK, but he hadn't been playing AK the whole hand and has been sitting aside just calling. Not even re-raising preflop. I make the call. Person to my left almost insta-folds (Most of my attention had gone to this guy, because it felt like we were the only ones in the hand and he had originally raised preflop) Person to my right shows AK off I told him nice hand, shook his hand and left the casino. The one hand I just didn't think he had. I was thinking chop more than anything. I was thinking 50/50 chop or I'd win the hand. So I'm asking for your input on the hand or more things that I should have taken into consideration. Stupid call?

re: K 10 poker So SB flats the UTG raiser with AK. I've been in this exact spot (in SB with AK) in a recent big pot that had action similar to this. I won a huge hand after getting all the money in on flopped nuts, but got chastised for play AK like I did. I know it's the wrong play to play AK so passive out of position. But now I'm thinking it's not such a bad play b/c my opponent could never put me on AK either. What is the right play with AK here and why?

Have I read this correctly? It's a 1/2 game and you are in the BB with KTo, and the action goes fold, fold, BTN raises to $15(!), SB calls, and then you call? Is 7.5bbs a normal open raise size for live? Anyhoo, I'd probably fold preflop. Given what happened, you're calling.
