| Jon Sherwood I just finished reading Jon's piece on, "Freeroll Tournament Strategy" and I would like to first thank him for taking the time to write it and because it could have been written just for me! I often find myself getting beyond the beginning of the game as well as the middle part of the game just to get stuck in the latter part of the game losing alot of chips to the big and small blind waiting for that perfect (or monster) pre-flop hand...I did not realize how integral a part of poker bluffing seems to be...given the right cercumstances! Not capitalizing on my opponent's weaknesses even with a less than "perfect" hand is NOT something I've tried alot only because I'm afraid of losing more chips than just the blinds I have to pay...But like Jon said, (It's better to go out BETTING, than being blinded out!) So ...it looks like I'm going to have to incorporate BLUFFING into my game more often...and we'll see what happens! Thank You Jon ...always willing to learn more! Let's call it a New Trick! |
