its good to ask
in the 1st blind of a local tourny i raised under the gun with KK..the button reraised all in..after some thought..bad thought ...i called and he turned over aces ..I KNEW IT!!!..less than a week later at foxwoods almost the very same hand...my raise with KK was reraised all in..this time i ASKED him..do you have aces?he instantly tried to embarrass me and saying all this crazy stuff that gave me my answer..i stood up and called fast ..he turned over 66!! and i knocked him out..if you think someone might have something, ask them directly and you might be able to read the players answer and make better plays GL

I did that to a guy who went over the top of my raise. I had a good hand and was trying to just take down the pot, and this young hotshot reraised quickly. I thought for a while, it was the last hand before break, and was a huge reraise, it would have crippled me!
All of a sudden I asked him "what do you got?". It surprised him I think and he blurted out "Go for it!" So I did. He had middle pair to my top pair and he never recovered. It dosen't work as well on line. ![]() |
