Took First place in 7 card stud today at poker Host. I post yesterday that you have to wait out the players who keep betting with nothing. Only stay if you have good hand right off (be patient)

How big was the feild? been playing a few stud tournies myself at stars, different can of worms entirely. do you ever play hi/lo split? personally prefer it. congrats

Congrats on your win. I also would like to know how big your feild was. As for your comment about waiting it out, I agree. A few months ago there was a thread that I think RammerJammer responded to saying to wait out all the idiots and then play. You will go far.

Good job! Was it your first win? I rarely play stud, it's such a different game than NLTH that I have yet to venture in that direction. It's always nice to place first though no matter the game. Keep up the good work!
