I need tips for STUD!?!?

I need tips/advice on STUD, i do good in STUD HI/LOW because play like if it was razz. But i don't do so great on just STUD. Anyone have any strategy or tips on the game? plz let me know

Read Chip Reese's section on Stud in the original Super System. That's about all the advice you are ever going to need.

folding on the first bet is okay! the thing that i see a ton in stud is people calling when they can see they are beat... i assume that is not your problem i just find that very funny if player 1 is holding queens and player 2 has a pair of aces showing and player one with the queens still calls... that makes me chuckle

I'm convinced that there is a large portion of noobs who somehow get it into their heads, that if they see one bet, they are obligated (somehow???????) to see the hand thru. It defies explanation, and I agree, it gets funny.

This is not unique to stud, but is most obvious in stud because they can see they are beat and pad the pot anyway.

Great articles!! This is just what I've been looking for about stud. I love the game but suck at it and it kills me in HORSE.
