hud and statistics Hello, I would really like to buy a tracker, don't know if it'll be PT3 or HEM, but what I can't find, is a simple document giving the ranges we should have for the most crucial stats, for 6max and for full rings. I'd like to have ranges and colors, like what we can find here: ![]() But if possible, with more statistics. (Also, I'm not sure that the statistics and ranges given in that example are good ones) It really does not seem easy to find a clear, and complete overview of this subject, and I'd appreciate if someone can help

Ok, it's already a good thing because I have set these ranges If anyone have another source for stats and ranges like that, I take I'm really impressed how better my game is with a hud. Yesterday without a hud, I had quite big losses (regarded to my tiny BR), and today thanks to the hud, I have won about the same amount I lost yesterday, so I think that even in microlimits, this kind of software is very useful

re: hud and statistics poker I'm not sure someone elses ranges are necessarily the best idea. There is some informational stuff displayed in a not bright blue, but the rest I code greens/oranges/reds relative to how donkey/same/tighter they are compared to my own play. It makes putting them on a range of hands a lot faster and easier when you're thinking what you would be doing and adjusting appropriately from there.

Hey moalitas, i have recently downloaded the PT3 trial version and it has helped me out a ton. it seems that you know what your doing already. my hud is set up very simple without clickin on the chart for each player i see vpip, pfr and aggression. Im still new to HUD use but so far these 3 simple steps help me for example i noticed a player trying to steal blinds alot and was fairly agressive. knowing this i opened my hand range up a bit on the big blind and when i hit the flop hard i knew he was gonna c bet. he did and i called. make the story short i figured out a little bit what kind of ranges he played on the button and it helped me get about 75 cents of the guy. of course this is micro limit as im still working on my bank roll. i also like the hand analyzer option on pt3. it helps me out alot with how to play certain hands that i wonder if i should have folded or been able to get more money. i hope this helps and as far as the colors go mine is not color coded but again im still really really new to the HUD thing and figuring it out myself.

Its not that we need a program to make money, for me its i play better live and make better observations live. The hud basically helps me understand the player a little bit better. we all know live is easier than online because there are not alot of distractions and you pay attention to players alot more and there actions. All the hud does for me is put those observations in my face that i would make normally at a casino. The other plus side is it helps me figure out how to play certain hands in particular for instance mine has helped me figure out that when i limp with wired 2's and hit a set vs raising i make alot more money. not that i do this with all pocket pairs but this is just one example for one hand in lp.

I downloaded the trial version of PT3. At 1st I was excited but the HUD drove me crazy. For one thing at 5NL it is hard to get enough history on any given opponent and for another the HUD covered up the bet amounts and just in general distracted and annoyed me. I log all my sessions in a custom made Excel Spreadsheet and I find that information is more helpful for managing my game. Maybe I'm sacrificing a little EV by playing generically against my opponents but would I make back the initial investment for playing 5NL anytime soon? There aren't many good players at this level, lots of calling stations and a few maniacs. I play very tight with rigorous hand selection in part because it limits the decisions I have to make which is useful when multi-tabling and also because I enter most pots with a lot of equity which also helps my postflop decisions. Maybe at higher limits PT or HEM have real value but I don't see it for the micros.

re: hud and statistics poker I attached my PT3 HUD layout for FTP Rush 9 player cash tables. I used this at 5NL and using it at 10NL now as I'm typing this post. Crap, can't attach the file, lets see if some site feedback gets it allowed.
