Different stats are optimal for different limits. The differences can be huge. For instance, try having a 10% 4bet at 25NL and see what happens. Or a 15% 3bet. Besides the stake, a huge factor is your style of play. No style is 'best', there are big winners that are nits, big winners that are lags, and anything in between. Each style comes with its own set of stats that work best for it Another huge factor is the table you're playing at. Even a 15% PFR can be big for some tables. I wouldn't put too much faith in such a program, beyond the basic stuff |

| re: How's my aggression? poker For micro to mid stakes players, yes I would take the advice of this software. It effectively finds your leaks and gives advice on how to correct them. It also has an algorithm that adjusts to your stake level. Like I said before it has made my game more profitable and there are many others who agree so my "faith" has merit. I'm just trying to give advice that I have personally benefited from. If you know of a more cost effective and efficient way to identify leaks and correct them, I'm all ears. |

My last statement might seem like a joke, but its really not. When you're on the button with a hand like KJ, and someone else opens, all 3 options are decent (raise, fold, call). Knowing you're supposed to be a 21/16 isn't going to help you determine which the best course of action is in this case. Also, I'd say your ideas are opposite. For microstakes, the players you're playing against are worse. So you can easily deviate from "optimal" stats in order to play a more exploitative game. At high stakes, your opponents do not suck, and they know how to properly punish you for doing things like raising 75% of your hands from the button. I'm not saying leak buster is pointless, but save that for after you work on all the hand reading/hand analysis skills. They're just going to give you stats that are averages, against the average opponent. But knowing how to deal with situations against fish, regs, stations, ect. so that you eventually arrive at that successful average is really what plugs leaks.
