How should this be interpreted?

Here are the statistics from a limit hold'em freeroll I recently played on Poker Stars.

125 hands played and saw flop:
- 7 times out of 15 while in small blind (47%)
- 7 times out of 14 while in big blind (50%)
- 20 times out of 96 in other positions (21%)
- a total of 34 times out of 125 (27%)

Pots won at showdown - 8 out of 13 (62%)
Pots won without showdown - 4

Playing 34 of 125 hands and winning 12 pots.
It seems to me that this is not a whole lot.
Yet it is typical of what I have been playing the last several weeks.

Is that normal game play?
Am I going through a streak of bad luck?
Or was I going through an incredible streak of good luck earlier?

I am puzzled.

If you are making money, then you have nothing to worry about.
Your stats are telling me that your playing an average TAG game with the odd steal mixed in.
If you are unsure of your stats take a look at this thread http://www.cardschat.com/f50/hand-stats-74315/

Small tournament? Were you knocked out by the time you copied this? 125 hands seems like early to middle stage.

125 hands played and saw flop:
- 7 times out of 15 while in small blind (47%) Good
- 7 times out of 14 while in big blind (50%) Good
- 20 times out of 96 in other positions (21%)A bit loose
- a total of 34 times out of 125 (27%) Loose 17 to 20% is average tight, usually when this one is this high you're either getting good cards, playing too many hands or your playing LAG

Pots won at showdown - 8 out of 13 (62%)Good but can be better.
Pots won without showdown - 4 Too low you're not being aggressive enough, but then this is limit, aggressive bluffs don't work in limit like they do in no-limit so it may be okay for this tourney.

This is my interpretation, I could be wrong you'll have to compare it to your own experience and see if it fits.

Sample size is tiny so the stats mean nothing, etc.

Stop being concerned with the number of pots you win, though. Although your sample is tiny it's somewhat indicative of a little over-loose play which may well be brought about by your 'i must win lots of pots' mentality. Worry more about winning big pots and losing small ones (pretty easy in a limit freeroll, bad beats/coolers aside!) - that's where your profit comes from.

Thanks all for the analysis.
I was just a bit frustrated after palying so many hands and seeing nothing better than 1 or 2 small pocket pairs (one was 77 and the other 22 i think).
I was just wondering what were the odds of not seeing anything better for so long.
